Third Annual Athletes Against Autism Golf Tournament Raises More Than $290,000
With over 30 athletes and celebrities in attendance, this year's 3rd Annual Athletes Against Autism Golf Tournament, presented by Cadillac, raised over $290,000 in support of Autism Speaks. Sunday evening, Bacara Resort & Spa welcomed over 150 guests to a cocktail hour, silent auction, dinner program and live auction hosted by actress Melissa Fitzgerald featuring world famous auctioneer and former Houston Rocket Robert Reid.
On Monday, Sandpiper Golf Club hosted the golf tournament, which included a pre-event yoga class, hole-in-one contest for a Cadillac Escalade, contests for Closest to the Pin, Accurate and Longest Drives, followed by a BBQ Dinner & Awards Reception.
