Brian & Patricia Kelly Postsecondary Scholarship Fund Recipients 2013

Autism Speaks is proud to award $249,000 to 11 postsecondary institutions through the Brian and Patricia Kelly Postsecondary Scholarship Fund. Funds were awarded to four-year colleges, two-year colleges, vocational programs and transition programs. Read the press release here.

Students with Autism from Animation Studio Landing Gigs in Hollywood

More and More Colleges Enrolling Students with Disabilities

An article in today's Detroit Legal News discussed the progress that has been made recently in terms of individuals with disabilities attending college. Options are expanding and schools are becoming more understanding and accomodating of these individuals, including young adults and adults on the autism spectrum.

Brian & Patricia Kelly Postsecondary Scholarship Fund

New! The application for this year's Brian & Patricia Kelly Postsecondary Scholarship Fund is now open! The deadline to apply is October 20th.

The Brian & Patricia Kelly Postsecondary Scholarship Fund selects eligible colleges, vocational/technical schools and transition programs in the United States to identify qualified students or clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and offer scholarship funds of up to $5,000 per student and $25,000 per program.

Adults living with autism often have difficulty finding information about programs and supports that would allow them to live as independently as possible. Autism Speaks Housing and Adult Services initiative will focus on resources that impact all facets of adult life including employment, housing, and post-secondary education.
