Bob Wright Talks Autism Genome Program on Bloomberg

(October 20, 2014) – Autism Speaks co-Founder Bob Wright appeared on Bloomberg TV’s “Taking Stock with Pimm Fox” where he discussed the MSSNG genome program - a groundbreaking collaboration between Autism Speaks and Google to transform genomic research on autism spectrum disorders. In his role as former chairman of NBC Universal, Mr. Wright also discussed why streaming services could be game-changers in the broadcasting and cable industries. Watch his full interview below:

The organizers of last month’s symposium: “Environmental Epigenetics: New Frontiers in Autism Research” have posted videotapes of its scientific presentations for free viewing at www.autismepigenetics.org.

Autism Speaks Grant Review Process

The first stage of providing fair and expert review for grant applications submitted to Autism Speaks consists of scientific peer review by a group of highly esteemed basic and clinical scientists that form our Advisory Boards. Additional expertise may be provided by ad-hoc reviewers in order to ensure that the scientific coverage is thorough.

"Autism: Answers and Understanding" airs Thursday night on WBTV

Thursday, October 4 at 7:30pm EST the CBS affiliate (WBTV) will be airing a special done by Jamie Boll, a Carolinas Chapter Board Member.
