It was a scary moment yesterday when an 18-year-old student bolted from McNair High School at 11:21am. He thankfully was found shortly after at the Hoboken Train station at 12:45pm. For more on this story, go here.
On Friday night, with the help of 7 Action News and WOMC, Brett Werner, a 22-year-old nonverbal young man with autism, met his idols The Beach Boys at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Brett, whose only words spoken are "Beach Boys," and his father found a special bond listening to their music and traveling to see the band play. The Beach Boys' Mike Love said it was an "ultimate compliment" and "tribute" to their music.
