State Publishes Final Version of ABA Licensing Rules

August 15, 2013

ALBANY (August 15, 2013) -- The state Department of Financial Services has published its final emergency rule regarding licensure of practitioners of applied behavior analysis (ABA). The agency earlier this year was requiring ABA practitioners to obtain a state license to practice in New York, but has dropped that requirement by accepting certification through the national Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
