June 20, 2014 - On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers welcomed autism families and friends to Autism Awareness Day at Dodger Stadium as the Dodgers took on the\ Colorado Rockies. It was a star-studded, exciting day at Chavez Ravine. Autism Speaks volunteers from Southern California had the chance to take the field during pregame ceremonies and interact with players on the field. Sam Katz threw out the first pitch. Sam and his parents, Dan and Lisa, are regularly among the top 5 fundraisers for the Los Angeles Walk. Also stopping by to hoist the Stanley Cup were the Los Angeles Kings.

(May 5, 2014) - The Boston Red Sox hosted nearly 1,300 individuals, families and supporters of New England’s autism community on Autism Awareness Day at Fenway Park in Boston on Saturday as part of Major League Baseball’s partnership with Autism Speaks.  The Red Sox beat the Oakland A’s, 6-3, on a clear spring day that began with the team’s special guests—kids, adults and families affected by autism—taking part in the pre-game ceremonies, including throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, performing honorary bat boy duties and announ

New York, NY (April 27, 2014) -- The New York Mets hosted their Autism Awareness Day today at Citi Field to help raise awareness for autism. The festivities began two hours before the game started when our families got to take part in a pre-game party in the Bullpen Plaza which included several activities for those in attendance to enjoy.

Arlington, TX (April 17, 2014) -- The Rangers hosted their Autism Awareness Night last night where they provided discounted tickets to our community with a portion of each ticket coming back to Autism Speaks. Families were all seated together and quiet rooms were provided. 12-year-old Lukman Calhoun who is on the autism spectrum threw out the first pitch.
