Children being children is what the North Shore Autism Circle on Long Island, New York, is all about.
On Monday, true to its mission, the club gathered 200 people at the Engineers Country Club in Roslyn Harbor, N.Y. to serve, chip and deal winning hands for autism.
It was the 4th Annual Holes for Hope tennis-golf-cards-mahjong event and it raised more than $250,000, a portion of which was donated to Autism Speaks.

On Sunday, July 21st, the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance celebrated its 57th annual event on the beautiful fairways at the Crystal Springs Golf Course in Hillsborough, Calif., just outside San Francisco. The Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance has built and maintained a proud tradition of honoring and celebrating excellence in automotive design and engineering.
Saturday, July 13th marked the Inaugural Milwaukee’s Ride for Autism Speaks. Hundreds of riders, families, and autism supporters came to the House of Harley-Davidson to take part in a phenomenal day. Families and friends rode for autism awareness, to raise funds for autism research, and to unite the Wisconsin autism community. Overall 115 bikes rode with over 250 people participating—together raising $15,000…and counting!

Autism Speaks and The Gillen Brewer School teamed up with NASCAR at the Speeding for a Cure gala on Tuesday, March 12 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan. The evening event raised close to $1.2 million for children with autism and other special needs.
The Autism Speaks to Young Professionals winter gala took place on Monday, February 4 th at Ph-D in the Dream Hotel Downtown. The hotel penthouse provided a fantastic backdrop of the New York City skyline for the crowd of twenty- to forty-somethings who came out in support of Autism Speaks to enjoy a night of cocktails, dancing and hors d’oeuvres. Co-Chairs Jesse Morris and Danny Ryan and close to 200 of their friends and colleagues raised just over $21,000.
