FedEx No. 11 driver Denny Hamlin to kick off event following Saturday race

DOVER, Del. – Dover International Speedway will host a track walk to benefit The NASCAR Foundation and Autism Speaks, immediately following the May 31, 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series race.

Denny Hamlin, driver of the No. 11 FedEx Toyota in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, will kick off the walk, which will afford fans the unique opportunity to walk the entire one-mile, concrete oval, all while raising money for two commendable organizations. Brad Daugherty, ESPN NASCAR analyst and former NBA player, will also participate in the walk.

(April 22, 2014) – For the fourth straight year, Autism Speaks, Dover International Speedway (NYSE: DVD) and FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) have joined forces in support of individuals and families affected by autism. FedEx will return as the title sponsor of the “FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, June 1, 2014. In addition, fans now have an opportunity to have their names displayed on Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 FedEx Toyota.
