VH1 Classic has partnered with Def Leppard and Journey to auction off a custom, autographed motorbike. The bike, designed by Cory Ness of Arlen Ness Motorcycles, is signed by each member of both bands.

It's beginning to look a lot like…"A Twisted Christmas"! Rock legends Twisted Sister have released a holiday CD in partnership with VH1 Classic and a portion of proceeds will be donated to Cure Autism Now. The band is currently on tour with dates through Dec. 23 and will appear on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on Dec. 13 and on “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on Dec. 22.

Country superstar Toby Keith, on his Hookin' Up and Hangin' Out Tour, ran a radio promotion on San Jose's KRTY-FM last month and proceeds went to Cure Autism Now. This “Super Fan” promotion included once-in-a-lifetime concert experiences including tickets, backstage passes, a meet-and-greet with Toby, dinner with the band and limousine transportation. The bidding war was down to two families and in the end both the Reyes and Ingrom families were able to secure the prize and raise an awesome amount of money for CAN.

Cure Autism Now supporters from across the country gathered at the Chicago Auto Show's First Look for Charity on Feb. 8 to raise funds for autism research and awareness. Thanks to the substantial efforts of Dan and Penny Wolf, the entire Wolf family, and the incredible committee, the event has raised close to $1 million for CAN over the last six years. Guests had the opportunity to support CAN and get an early look at the beautiful cars displayed at the Chicago Auto Show.

The Teletubbies are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a "British invasion" of the United States. Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po—from the beloved BBC and PBS television series—are making appearances in New York City during the week of March 26 and will be raising awareness and funds for Autism Speaks and Cure Autism Now.

Seasons of Success in ‘06…

Cure Autism Now's WALK NOW walkers, teams, volunteers and staff succeeded in raising over $6 million at 17 WALK NOW events nationwide in 2006. That's a 40% increase from WALK NOW events in 2005!

Congratulations to our volunteer committees across the country for breaking records beyond our wildest dreams, including our first million dollar WALK NOW events in Los Angeles and Chicago!
