A few weeks ago, the autism community in New England came together at our first ever Resource Fair and Family Day at Kimball Farm in Westford, MA.  It was a truly special event hosted by the Greater Boston Committee of Autism Speaks in partnership with the generous and welcoming staff at Kimball Farm. 

Ohio State is Hacking Autism

The folks at Ohio State University are hacking autism with their Citra app concept for caregivers.


Over 1,900 participants came out in support of the 8th Annual Laurel Highlands Walk Now for Autism Speaks annual event. This year’s Walk was once again held at Idlewild Park and Story Book Forest in Ligonier, PA. Participants enjoyed a sunshine filled day with food, fun and entertainment provided by The Hollow Tree Players and entertainers from Stage Right!

Please join us Monday February 27th for our first webchat featuring the Government Relations team: “My Child Has Autism: How Do I Get Insurance?” The webchat will be hosted by Lorri Unumb, Esq., our Vice President for State Government Affairs.

In celebration of World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, Autism Speaks will again seek to turn the world blue. Our third annual Light It Up Blue initiative is fully underway with over 350 buildings already committed to turning blue.
