Resilient New Jersey Shore Community Holds Walk Kick-off

The New Jersey Shore Walk held its 2013 Kick-off at McLoone's in Long Branch last week,  an outstanding event made possible by outstanding walk volunteer leadership and the outstanding New Jersey Shore community. The families of the Jersey Shore, still reeling from the impact of Hurrican Sandy, are more inspired than ever to bring hope and support to their autism community, which was particularly impacted by the storm.

Autism Speaks extends our deepest sympathies to the families affected by this week's devastating tornadoes in the Midwest and South. We are working hard to provide information, resources, and assistance to families affected by autism who have experienced or continue to experience the effects of these horrible events. 

Point of Hope – Autism Speaks Holiday

In an effort to bring holiday cheer to families and their children with autism who were affected by Hurricane Sandy, Brooklyn Nets guard Deron Williams, his wife Amy, his foundation Point of Hope and Autism Speaks will host a special holiday event at Distilled in New York City on December 22, 2012. The Point of Hope Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of children and their families.
