The 2nd Annual Illuminate DC hosted by Autism Speaks to Young Professionals (AS2YP) – Washington, DC featured a blues night out at the DC venue Look Supper Club. With a live jazz band, open bar, buffet, and silent auction, it was a beautiful evening as guests came dressed in blue to illuminate the night's Light It Up Blue theme.

On Saturday, April 20, 2013, Autism Speaks to Young Professionals Chicago hosted the 5th annual Double Denim Bar Crawl (DDBC) on the streets of Wrigleyville, home of the Chicago Cubs. Over 250 guests decked out in denim packed the bars, purchased raffle tickets, participated in various competitions and most importantly, raised awareness and over $4,700 for Autism Speaks! With a Twitter hash tag as #HugeParty, what else could be expected?

The bar crawl was aggressive in its goals:

1.       Raise $3,000 for Autism Speaks

On Saturday, April 6, 2013, Autism Speaks to Young Professionals (AS2YP) Chicago hosted its first annual Light it Up Blue reception, Illuminate at the Joffrey Ballet Tower at 10 E Randolph in Chicago, Illinois.

The Autism Speaks to Young Professionals winter gala took place on Monday, February 4 th at Ph-D in the Dream Hotel Downtown. The hotel penthouse provided a fantastic backdrop of the New York City skyline for the crowd of twenty- to forty-somethings who came out in support of Autism Speaks to enjoy a night of cocktails, dancing and hors d’oeuvres. Co-Chairs Jesse Morris and Danny Ryan and close to 200 of their friends and colleagues raised just over $21,000.

In a room filled with laughter, drinks, delicious hors d'oeuvres and rocking music, Autism Speaks celebrated the fourth annual Autism Speaks to Young Professionals (AS2YP) summer gala on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street.  Over 1,000 people turned out for a night of fun in the city to encourage young professionals from all industries to learn about autism, while raising funds in a unique way. The event was co-chaired by Jesse Morris and Danny Ryan and raised over $90,000 dollars for Autism Speaks’ research and advocacy initiatives.

On August 5th, 2011, the New York City chapter of Autism Speaks to Young Professionals (AS2YP) held its third summer event on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Over 800 guests gathered at the NYSE to taste a few cocktails from sponsors Barbadillo, Firefly and Perrier, listen to music played by DJs Caleb Loftus and  Nick Russo, and to show their support for Autism Speaks.
