As the national series continues, the tenth Adult Services Town Halls focused on Housing and Residential Services was held at Kennesaw State University Friday evening. Just shy of two hundred residents from the metro Atlanta area and beyond came together to discuss adult services for those with autism.

The Litchfield County Times spotlighted the passage of the ABLE Act which will give a tax-free savings program for individuals with disabilities. Connecticut’s congressional delegates and autism advocates have been celebrating the passing of ABLE since President Obama signed it into law on Dec, 21.

Brian Ferguson, a 20-year-old college student with autism from Waxahachie, Texas, was expelled from college last week for mistakenly hugging a woman and kissing her on the forehead. A week later, however, thanks to the Waxahachie Independent School District, Ferguson is back in his special needs classes at Navarro College.
