(April 1, 2014) -  Today the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the U.N., Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations and Autism Speaks co-hosted a panel discussion, "Autism: Awareness to Action," at the United Nations in New York. The discussion was co-sponsored by the United States Mission to the U.N., Permanent Mission of India to the U.N, Permanent Mission of Chile to the U.N and Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the U.N.

More than 50 participants attended a conference in Modesto, Calif. on March 29th. Topics included Autism Speaks Family Services Grants, Ann Cirmele on Advocacy Strategies, Faun Hyde on Fluency, Danelle Ford on Social Skills and more! This fun community event was informative and provided a new way for Autism Speaks to connect with our families. We plan on replicating this event in other parts of the United States throughout 2014.

Young NYC Influencers Team up with Non-Profit Autism Speaks and host charity spin classes to raise funds for emergency tool kits for families in the NYC Metro area.

This year's event will take place on Sunday April 6, 2014 at Kendrick Park (across from Bertucci's) in Amherst Center. Registration opens at 10:30am, opening ceremonies kick-off at 11:30am, and the race begins with a shot gun start at noon!

PHOENIX (March 9, 2014) - On Friday more than 50 people found their way to the roof of the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, climbed on the ledge and rappelled down 23 stories as part of Over the Edge with Autism Speaks, all in support of the autism community.

Los Angeles, CA, February 19, 2014: Crosby, Stills and Nash (CSN), John Mayer, Don Felder, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stills and many special guests will return to Los Angeles on April 5 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel for the 2nd Light Up The Blues Concert -- An Evening of Music to Benefit Autism Speaks, the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization.

The North Bay Walk Now for Autism Speaks kickoff was a lovely event held on Saturday February 15th at Sally's Tomatoes in Rohnert Park, CA. Families learned about the walk and Autism Speaks. A HUGE thank you to our Alpha Xi Delta volunteers, committee members, walk chairs and participants for making this a successful event! Fun was had by all!! Hope to see you all at the walk on April 12th!
