Scientists from around the world are in London for the annual International Meeting for Autism Research (IMFAR) sharing their latest research information. The goal of those in attendance is to help individuals around the world living with autism, and their families, have a better quality of care and life.

Day One
Day Two
Day Three

By the time this year's IMFAR concludes, more than 850 research and educational sessions, lectures, and panel discussions will have been presented to over 1,100 attendees – an increase of nearly 20 percent from the previous year.

"This year's IMFAR Meeting is an indication about how the field of autism is moving forward rapidly, and it's a very exciting time," commented Dr. Geri Dawson, Chief Science Officer for Autism Speaks. "There has been an increased awareness of autism, especially in the last five years, and while the news media has played a key role, awareness is also due to parents who are passionate and committed to advocating for more research and better treatments."
