Autism Speaks Clinical Programs Department is pleased to announce the release of their annual newsletter, Family Connections. A major highlight for the year was the launch of the Online System for Clinical Research (OSCR). OSCR is a web-based data entry system based on the same system used for the Interactive Autism Network (IAN), which allows families to more easily participate in research by providing access to forms
online. OSCR wasdeveloped as a tool to accelerate the pace of research and keep families involved in the process. The first OSCR initiative is for families participating in the Autism Genetic Resource Exchange (AGRE). All eligible AGRE families will be receiving an invitation email with instructions on how to register.

For more information, families can contact Mr. Ryan Butler at
(866) 612-2473 ext. 716 or email OSCRstaff@agre.org.
