The Next ‘Docs Are In’ Webchat

July 02, 2012

Please join Autism Speaks Chief Science Officer Geri Dawson, Ph.D., for her monthly “The Doctors Are In” webchat Thursday, July 5, at 3 pm ET/noon PT. Her guest hosts will include psychologist Sally Rogers, Ph.D., and behavior analyst Laurie Vismara, Ph.D., both of the MIND Institute at the University of California-Davis. They are Dr. Dawson’s co-authors of the newly published An Early Start for Your Child with Autism: Using Everyday Activities to Help Kids Connect, Communicate and Learn.

“Our goal is to help parents empower themselves by giving them the tools they need to help their child,” says Dr. Dawson. (See Geri’s related blog post here). They welcome your questions on early intervention strategies for parents and caregivers.

To submit questions in advance, email ScienceChat@autismspeaks.org. To join the chat or sign up for a reminder, click the “Docs Are In" Chat Tab on the Autism Speaks Facebook page.
