Federal Autism Committee Seeks Public Members

With the enactment of the Combating Autism Reauthorization Act of 2011, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will continue to support the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) through September, 2014. The Secretary of Health and Human Services is now seeking nominations for public members to serve on this important committee, with the Office of Autism Research Coordination (OARC) assisting by conducting an open and transparent nomination process. Nominations of new public members are encouraged, but current members may also be re-nominated to continue to serve. Self-nominations and nominations of other individuals are both permitted. This call for nominations will remain open until November 30, 2011. For further detail, see the official 2011 IACC Call for Nominations Announcement
