Autism: The International Journal of Research and Practice invites Autism Speaks families and supporters to listen in on Autism Matters Podcast Number 2, the second in a series of podcasts for a broad audience—from academics and clinicians to individuals with autism and their families. This month’s installment features Aubyn Stahmer, PhD, research and clinical coordinator of the Autism Intervention Center at the University of California, San Diego. Stahmer is a current recipient of an Autism Speaks treatment grant aimed at developing parent-training interventions that work effectively in community settings. In the podcast, she discusses her research in developing community programs that emphasize social inclusion and early intervention for toddlers with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs).
