Guidance and Oversight


AIR-P Steering Committee Guides the Collaborators To help the many collaborators that make up the AIR-P maintain a consistent focus, common understanding and effective communication, an AIR-P Steering Committee was appointed. This committee, which meets quarterly, has an important role. The Steering committee is responsible for:
  • setting the strategic direction for AIR-P network
  • determining the scientific priorities, and
  • approving consensus guidelines developed by subcommittees
Members of the Steering Committee include James M. Perrin, M.D., Principal Investigator for the AIR-P initiative; Daniel L. Coury, M.D. ATN Medical Director; the Principal Investigators in charge of the research projects; the Principal Investigators from each of the ATN sites; and representatives from the Clinical Coordinating Center, Data Coordinating Center, Autism Speaks, Maternal and Child Health Bureau and National Initiative on Children's Healthcare Quality.
