Frequently Asked Questions About ACTN

  1. What is the Autism Clinical Trials Network?
The Autism Clinical Trials Network is a network of 8-13 medical centers collaborating on clinical trials for autism. The centers in the network collaborate on a single trial with each site recruiting children for the trial (multi-site, single protocol trial). This means that recruitment goals can be met faster, decreasing the amount of time it takes to complete a trial to screen and develop new treatments.
