Children often display repetitive behaviors. For children with autism such actions affect their ability to explore new places and play with new toys. This keeps them from learning new things. In this study we use play-based tasks to determine whether we can scientifically characterize repetitive behavior in a fun manner. Our long-term goal is to use these play-based measures to the children with autism new ways to play.
