E. A. Conway Acute Psychiatric Unit

The E. A. Conway Acute Psychiatric Unit admits individuals who are experiencing psychiatric emergencies/crises and are in need of stabilization. The Unit admits male and female adult patients (18 years of age or older). This is a closed Unit and is designed to provide for a brief stay, typically under 14 days. Patients are generally referred to the Unit through the Region VIII Office of Mental Health Single Point of Entry system.
