Autism Speaks Named Official Charity of Z100 Jingle Ball 2007 Concert at Madison Square Garden

A Portion of Ticket Sales will Support the Organization's Ongoing Research, Awareness and Family Service Efforts
NEW YORK, NY (November 8, 2007) – Autism Speaks, an organization dedicated to increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders, to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for autism, and to advocating for the needs of affected families, has been named the official charity of radio station Z100's Jingle Ball 2007 concert. The concert, which will take
place on December 14 at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, will feature a star-studded line-up of performers, including Alicia Keys, Jonas Brothers, Avril Lavigne, Backstreet Boys, Jordin Sparks, Boys Like Girls, Colbie Caillat, Timbaland (with OneRepublic & Keri Hilson) and many more.
For each ticket sold via Ticketmaster, $1 will be automatically donated to Autism Speaks, along with an option to contribute more. Tickets will be sold exclusively to Z100's ZVIP members via Ticketmaster starting Friday, November 9 at 4pm.To register to be a ZVIP, log on to www.z100.com/ keyword: Jingle Ball. There is a four-ticket limit per order. Last year, tickets to the event sold out in 15 minutes.
Autism Speaks will also have an information table at the Z100 and In Touch Weekly All Access Lounge pre-show event from 12-6 pm at the Hammerstein Ballroom. This free indoor festival will feature performances by Z100 Jingle Ball artists, autograph sessions and interactive booths.
