NEW YORK, NY (September 13, 2007) -- Autism Speaks, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of autism and funding autism research, announced today that it has joined with YouTube to create AutismSpeaksVids -- www.youtube.com/autismspeaksvids -- a new video channel designed to increase awareness of autism through a variety of traditional and new media.
AutismSpeaksVids features a variety of clips from both professional and amateur sources. The channel will host exclusive expert interviews on a range of autism-related topics, media coverage about autism, footage from fundraising events advocacy efforts across the country, and more. AutismSpeaksVids will draw from the submissions of the online community to bring a broad and varied look at autism and the individuals and families it affects.
