Broadway Stars Help Create A Piece of the Puzzle for Autism

One-of-a-kind Puzzle Pieces Decorated by Broadway's Best at Auction on CharityFolks.com with Proceeds Benefiting Autism Speaks

NEW YORK (March 5, 2007) - Autism Speaks, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of autism and raising money to fund autism research, has launched a global online auction at CharityFolks.com. The auction block includes 21 unique puzzle pieces signed and decorated by Broadway's best for the annual Kids' Night on Broadway event which, this year, helped shine a spotlight on the growing prevalence of autism and the work of Autism Speaks.

Bidders in the Autism Speaks auction will be faced with some tough decisions, such as choosing between a Hairspray-themed puzzle piece adorned with a bob hairstyle and pearls created by the show's talented wardrobe department, The Producers-themed puzzle piece signed by star Tony Danza or a Les Miserables puzzle piece signed by the childhood stars in the Broadway revival!

Others that have come forward to help include the cast of The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Spamalot, Avenue Q, Rent, Tarzan and Wicked, just to name a few. Bidding ends on March 13th, at 6 p.m. ET at www.charityfolks.com.
