Please join us for Play Without Boundaries, an event where the Please Touch Museum is adapted to provide a relaxed environment for individuals with autism, learning differences, or other sensory and communication needs.

During these special hours, our aim is to remove the “hidden social rules” present in attending a cultural event, like visiting a museum. Our accommodations for Play Without Boundaries include:

• Closing the museum to the general public, reducing the number of visitors in the museum
• Low level lighting and a reduction of loud sound in exhibits
• Quiet rooms with sensory toys
• A social story to help prepare for your trip to the museum
• Educational programming with educators who have received autism sensitivity training
• Community partners from the greater Philadelphia area with resources for families and individuals with autism
