Autism Speaks sponsor White Castle's slider was named the most influential burger of all time by Time magazine, topping a list of the 17 most influential burgers. In the story Time credits White Castle with "pav[ing] the way for the great American burger obsession." Congratulations to everyone at White Castle!
The slider, known for what Time calls its "now-iconic square patty," was introduced at the first White Castle store in Wichita, Kansas in 1921. White Castle, now based in Columbus, Ohio, has been an Autism Speaks partner since 2008, and raised $607,000 for Autism Speaks in 2013 with an instore point of purchase campaign. White Castle is a strong suppporter of its hometown Walk Now for Autism Speaks Columbus.
