The following Walks took place on Saturday:
Walk Now for Autism Speaks: Bay Area
The 12th Anniversary of the Bay Area Walk Now for Autism Speaks held at History Park in the City of San Jose. It was a beautiful day that brought together over 5,000 people to celebrate the autism community and to get information about autism from over 41 Resources and Service Providers. This year’s event featured live dance performances and many families stuck around to enjoy a picnic lunch that they brought with them. The walk was emceed by the very talented Kris Sanchez, from NBC Bay Area, and DJ’d by Sean King who played wonderful music. Huge thanks to our Bay Area Committee for all of their hard work and dedication over the past year to produce an incredible event. We are all so grateful for your time, talent, and commitment to the autism community!
