A Vintage Car Rally For Charity

There are so many ways to raise awareness and funds for Autism Speaks: some people dye their hair blue on April 2; some people run marathons or compete in Iron Man; and some people blaze trails on the road. 

Jacque Connor, Merle Mullin, Gwen McCaw, and Susan McCaw came up with the idea for a charity road rally together and launched their event in 2011. This year’s “It’s All About The Girls!” road rally for charity brought together 50 international high-profile women who drove 25 collector cars through the heart of Tuscany to raise funds for a trio of non-profit organizations, including Autism Speaks. They chose Autism Speaks as a beneficiary because they “greatly appreciate the work done to support the children, young adults, and families of those touched with autism.”
