Toys“R”Us® Still Shining a Light for Autism

The Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us 2013 Autism Speaks fundraising in-store campaign “Shine A Light For Autism” ends in a few days, on April 30.  Please visit a store near you or visit their website at www.Toysrus.com/AutismSpeaks.

One hundred percent of these funds will be dedicated to supporting the Autism Speaks Community Grants program, which helps promote services that enhance the lives of those affected by autism, expand the capacity to effectively serve this growing community and enhance the field of service providers.

Even though the company’s in-store campaign is ending, our partnership continues throughout the year. For the first time, people across the country can sign up to “Walk With Geoffrey” online at WalkNowForAutismSpeaks.org/Geoffrey. Families and supporters who may not live near an official Walk Now for Autism Speaks event can still walk virtually alongside the company’s iconic mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe to raise funds for Autism Speaks.  Please join Geoffrey online!

Toys“R”Us, Babies“R”Us and the Toys“R”Us Children’s Fund together serve as our national sponsors of Walk Now for Autism Speaks. The complete schedule of over 95  events can be found at WalkNowforAutismSpeaks.org.

Autism Speaks is immensely grateful for the dedication and commitment that our largest corporate partner, Toys“R”Us, has demonstrated to our community over the past seven years. The company has helped Autism Speaks receive over $16 million. On behalf of all of our families, we thank you!
