Alexandra Jackman, a teenager from Westfield, New Jersey, created a video to help educate her peers about autism. Her video titled, 'A Teen's Guide to Understanding and Communicating with People with Autism" was a part of her class project at Roosevelt Intermediate School last year. Jackman wanted to do this video based on her role volunteering for an organization called "Autism Family Times".

Jackman says on the project, "The video is so important to me because I feel it could help anyone, especially typically-developing teens, to feel that they can interact and get to know people with autism and not be scared of the differences. People tend to be more accepting when the yare more knowledgeable."
