(September 2, 2014) -- NBC News last night featured a video of the first ever comic book to feature a superhero with autism.
Dave Kot, the founder of the non-profit organization “Autism at Face Value” created this comic book called “Face Value Comics” which features this superhero. The comic is being sold through Comix Connection in three local comic book stores in York, Pennsylvania.
Autism at Face Value’s goal through their non-profit moving forward is to continue research and community outreach for their comics in the hopes of spreading awareness for autism.
Dave is already working on Issue No. 2 of his comic where he hopes to continue the story of one of the first ever autism superheroes.
