Nelson Mandela, Former South African President, Passes Away

(Dec. 5, 2013) Nelson Mandela, anti-apartheid leader and South Africa's first democratic president, died at his home after several months of ongoing health problems. He was 95. Current South African president Jacob Zuma announced his death in a national address.
