MSNBC Highlights Autism Documentary "Sounding the Alarm"

July 10, 2014 - The acclaimed autism documentary "Sounding the Alarm" will be available on Netflix on July 15. The film examines the lives of 12 families who live with autism, and chronicles the challenges and opportunities they face from diagnosis to adulthood. 

If you’re in the New York area, tune-in to the PBS show “Metro Focus” for a re-broadcast of an interview with Autism Speaks Co-founders Bob and Suzanne Wright about the film.

In April, Autism Speaks' Executive Vice President of Strategic Communications Michael Rosen discussed the film as a featured guest on MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry show for a segment on the financial and emotional hardships many parents of individuals with autism face in the U.S.
