Autism Kit Helps Parents Find Their Way

(CBS) As April draws to a close, it's time to look back on Autism Awareness Month. Lisa Goring of Autism Speaks, the nation's largest autism advocacy organization, discusses a kit that's available to parents of newly diagnosed children.


According to www.AutismSpeaks.org, "Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that typically lasts throughout a person's lifetime. It is part of a group of disorders known as autism spectrum disorders (ASD)."
