Matt McGlone is an adult on the spectrum who just started his freshman year at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Cathy McGlone, Matt’s mother, says that she helped Matt work on skills like time management, laundry, and cooking the summer before he started college. Cathy McGlone goes on to say that while there are still things Matt needs help with, he’s excelled so far because of the confidence he gained in high school.
Matt, who is studying to be a film director, maintained a 3.3 grade-point average in his first semester of college.
