Autism Awareness Day in the Minor Leagues

June 09, 2013
On Sunday afternoon June 9th the Potomac Nationals held their Autism Awareness Day as they played a Minor League Beltway brawl against the Frederick Keys. The Lindsay Automotive Group, a perennial supporter of Autism Speaks, invited 50 local Autism Speaks volunteers to attend the game and the air-conditioned quiet room.
The Potomac Nationals wore custom puzzle piece jerseys for the game. The signed jerseys were then auctioned off to raise funds for Autism Speaks.
The Lindsay Automotive Group was proud to be able to help foster awareness as well as raise money to fund research for autism spectrum disorders. In addition to the 50 Autism Speaks volunteers, 50 Lindsay employees and family members attended the game, at which 5 employees bid on and won signed Potomac Nationals custom puzzle piece jerseys. At Lindsay Automotive, we understand that every dollar of money, minute of time, prayer of hope, or embrace of love is immensely important. We are passionate about contributing to Autism Speaks in many ways to help make a difference.
