Adam Lanza's Father Breaks His Silence

(March 10, 2014) Peter Lanza, the father of Adam Lanza, who killed 20 young children and six adults in Newtown, Conn. at Sandy Hook Elementary school, has broken his silence for the first time. 

Peter Lanza spoke with New Yorker writer Andrew Solomon in a series of inteviews for an article published today. In the story, Lanza discusses Adam's diagnosis with Asperger Syndrome, telling Solomon, "Asperger’s makes people unusual, but it doesn’t make people like this."
