Jacob Barnett gives a Tedx Talk titled, "Forget What You Know"

Indiana teen Jacob Barnett has already been in the spotlight for years. At age 12 he crafted his own theory of relativity, at age 14 experts proclaimed his IQ was already higher than Albert Einstein's and now, at 15, he is working on a master's degree at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario.

When Jacob was a toddler, he didn’t speak and he was diagnosed with moderate to severe autism. Doctors said that he would never read or write but everything began to change after one night.  Jacob’s mother laid him down on the hood of her car to look at the stars and he was hooked.   

In April, 2013 Jacob gave a TEDx Talk challenging his audience to “forget what you know.” Watch the video below.
