Autism Speaks' relationship with Toys“R”Us was featured prominently in today's New York Times' Advertising section. The article, entitled “Marketers Lend Voices to Show Support for the Disabled,” examines the ways some

retailers are successfully connecting to the public through altruism despite the slowdown in the marketing industry. For the third year in a row Toys“R”Us has partnered with Autism Speaks on an in-store campaign to raise funds and awareness of autism. This year, for the first time, Babies“R”Us joined in the promotion. The campaign runs through May 1 at all Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us locations as well as online. Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us are also the national sponsors of Autism Speaks' Walk Now for Autism program.
