Tune-In: Rebroadcast of Oprah Show Devoted to Autism

On Thursday, August 2, The Oprah Winfrey Show will rebroadcast a full hour devoted to autism. The show originally aired on April 5, 2007. Check local listings to see when The Oprah Winfrey Show airs in your area.

Portions of Autism Speaks' documentary Autism Every Day are featured throughout the program, entitled The Faces of Autism. Several of the parents featured in the film, including Jesse Mojica, Katie Wright and Michele Pierce Burns, participated in the show along with Autism Speaks' Executive Vice President Alison Singer.

Other topics addressed include teens with autism and the effect autism can have on siblings. In addition, the show profiles a pediatrician who specializes in the treatment of autism and is also the parent of two children on the spectrum.
