Signs of Autism Seen in Infancy
An article in the May 4, 2009 online issue of TIME magazine focuses on new research being conducted which aims to identify the signs of autism and begin early intervention therapies earlier in infancy. Researchers from across the country, including Dr. Geri Dawson, chief science officer for Autism Speaks, are engaged in these new experiments in the hopes of increasing a diagnosed child's chances to reach his or her maximum potential.
