ABC Talk Show Focuses on Autism
'The View' Airs 'Autism Every Day' in Hour-Long Telecast Dedicated to Autism
Autism Every Day, the powerful new documentary produced by Autism Speaks, was featured in a special hour-long exploration of autism on the popular daytime program “The View,” which aired on the ABC Television Network on Jan. 29, 2007.

Also highlighting the program was a special guest co-hosting appearance by Toni Braxton, the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter who is the mother of a son with autism. In an emotional moment, Braxton tearfully thanked Autism Speaks Co-founder Suzanne Wright for a call to offer help after her son's diagnosis last fall.

In addition, the show, which features co-hosts Rosie O'Donnell, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, included interviews with medical experts, and well-known author Temple Grandin, who has autism. Click here to see clips from the show.
