NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler visited Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology to celebrate the formation of the first Student Club for Autism Speaks (SCAS) in the southeast.

The driver of the No. 19 Best Buy Dodge in the Sprint Cup Series met with students of the Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology in Charlotte on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Sadler not only honored the students for their past volunteer efforts on behalf of Autism Speaks, but also recognized the establishment of a new student club at the school that will continue to raise awareness and funds for autism research.
