Wrights Honored with Servitor Pacis Award

Autism Speaks Co-founders Suzanne and Bob Wright were honored with the Servitor Pacis (Servant of Peace) Award on Tuesday, June 9th, in the Delegates Ballroom of the United Nations Headquarters.

Beginning in 1994, the Path to Peace Foundation has bestowed the Servitor Pacis Award to acknowledge those men and women who dedicate their lives to the greater good.

The Path to Peace Foundation was established for the purpose of spreading the message of peace by which the Catholic Church, through the words and activities of the Pope and of the Holy See, strives to “guide our steps into the path of peace.”

Independent from but in collaboration with the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations, the Path to Peace Foundation directs its activities primarily, albeit not exclusively, to the international stage of the United Nations.

The Path to Peace Foundation presented the Wrights with this award for founding Autism Speaks, and for their ongoing work to help families and individuals who live with autism every day. Click here to read more on the Path to Peace Foundation's site.
