NY Times Op-Ed: "Growing Old with Autism"
On Sunday, May 24, 2009, the New York Times published an op-ed piece entitled "Growing Old with Autism" by Karl Taro Greenfeld, whose brother Noah is an adult with autism. In the piece, Greenfeld examines why there are so few programs and services available for adults with autism. Greenfeld quotes Sophia Colamarino, vice president of research for Autism Speaks, and Peter Bell, executive vice president of programs and services for Autism Speaks.
