Guiding Light Stresses Importance of Early Diagnosis

On Friday, December 14, CBS daytime drama Guiding Light highlighted the importance of learning the early warning signs of autism. Long-running character Beth Raines Bauer (played by Beth Chamberlin) and Dr. Mel Boudreau Bauer (played by Yvonna Wright)discussed the fact that autism is the nation's fastest growing developmental disability and stressed that all new mothers should familiarize themselves with the red flags for autism.
