Guiding Light brings Autism Awareness to Daytime Audience

guiding light
The CBS daytime drama "Guiding Light" is showing its support for autism awareness. Beginning this week, characters on the show are wearing the Autism Speaks blue puzzle piece pin. Each week, additional characters will wear the pin leading up to a storyline in June/July which will involve autism awareness and Autism Speaks. In addition, actress Beth Chamberlin, who plays Beth on Guiding Light, spoke about autism during the weekly "My Light" segment of the show. Guiding Light is the longest running drama in history, airing first on radio and then television, for seventy years.
