Science Magazine Interviews Geri Dawson; Seattle Times Editorial Page Lauds Chief Science Officer

The "Newsmakers" section of Science magazine's Feb. 22, 2008 issue includes an interview with Autism Speaks Chief Science Officer Geri Dawson which includes questions about the current state of autism research and what science can offer parents of children with autism in the near-term. In an editorial dated Feb. 27, 2008, The Seattle Times proclaims Dawson a "champion puzzler" for her work on autism. The editorial calls Dawson's departure from the University of Washington a loss for the region but goes on to emphasize the importance of her new role at Autism Speaks.
